nothing ruins a song faster than people who over-analyze the lyrics. everyone seems to forget that artists are people too and that song lyrics are sometimes personal. not every song has a greater meaning. i think this one is honestly just about a girl he met and things that happened with her that we're not even supposed to understand. i agree with goldenfallinghard. |

yeah, i think it's about her mom too. it seems like it could be about her mom getting hurt by some man who she keeps going back to. or maybe just a friend who keeps going back to the same person. |

I don't think it's a love song, really! Just the sound of the song itself makes me think that she doesn't love him the way he loves her. He makes her sound kind of cold. It seems like she has some kind of hold on him and he has to leave to get away from her, even though he loves her. |

Are you with me Or am I wrong? The silly old songs Do they mean anything or am I just wrong I don't personally think he's talking to the audience at this part. It seems like he's talking to someone he cares about but he's not sure if they care about him. It's like he wants to know if the songs are actually about him or if they're just songs and he's over reaching. |
