Colorado homeboys, hell yeah. I'm so proud of these guys for properly representing Colorado, and not just being typical Boulder hipster douchebags. They're weird and dorky but amazing lyricists with some serious talent.
I think this song is about him understanding he's not the best person in the world, and he's more than willing to accept this. He's just hoping the girl he fancies accepts this as well.
This song makes me think of Red Rocks, btw. Sunrise from up there is flipping amazing. |

I didn't really pay attention to this song at first, because I like my music angry, until I heard him say "kids of the frozen front range", like he was talking to me. I later found the band was from Colorado, which made me feel all fuzzy and nostalgic, and started listening to this song in a better light. Call me a dork, but I loves my 3oh3. :3 |

I think it's "the wretched blood", instead of "rested".
And, ugh, I spent weeks looking for this band after catching just the end on the radio, and I finallyyy found them. Totally killer, and it really represents what the entertainment industry has become. Actually, it kind of reminds me of Jeffree Star in a way. o.o;; |

I don't think this song is as cliche as you seem to be thinking. I think, simply, he's starting to think life is just another bad thing after another, big things such as finding his cousin's mother in a ditch, and small things such as a simple nosebleed. So now he's just thinking, his life isn't really worth living, so why keep living it? |
