I really like it how coke heads always think every song is about cocaine. It's very illustrative of the effects of the drug.

It's a great song, I generally agree with everyone here - it's about pretentiousness and the fakery people (especially cocaine users, who become irritatingly even more self-obsessed) surround themselves with when they forget they're just a human like everyone else.
It works well as my soundtrack as I pilot the Hydra jumpjet around San Andreas destroying gridlock freeway traffic with a pair of twin-linked missile launchers. |

Also, good comments everybody, but I am a little tired of hearing people explain away anything that seems "deep" by saying 'well he's clearly tripping on LSD here.' If you've ever done LSD (and have had intelligent thought prior to doing so) then you should realize it's just a drug that makes you think you're having amazing revelations when you're actually just drooling and staring at the colors.
This song offers more than that, at least for most fans I know. |
