about a marrage? are you crazy.... the song is clearly about the death of a relation hence all the references to funerals.. a pyre an ancient ritual where the body is cremated ontop of a wooden structure much like in the film troy. and an effigy is a statue of the deceased built on the lid of the coffin. the ash fallign like snow is from the fire bruning the relationship up. the metaphors in this song are beautiful and flawless. although the relationship has died he still cares for her truly and believes he will never find the same kind of love again. god bless you it dies today :] |
