Gallows – Staring at the Rude Bois (The Ruts cover) Lyrics 11 years ago
richfrmblacklist is right, this song fucking sucks.
They took a classic "fly under the radar" punk song, and turned it shit in so many ways. This song didn't need modernising, "Lethal Bizzle" will be a non-entity in 5 years time, as will all chavvy shit.

What the fuck's going on with all these shitty music hybrids? Everybody's so busy trying to make something unique that they forget there was nothing wrong with Punk, Rock or Metal on their own, you don't need some dipshit "rapper", or any of those shitty synthetic sound effects used in rave music/techno/other shit, it doesn't make it better, it doesn't make it original, it just makes it absolutely shit.

Eventually, we'll just combine every different kind of music to make something absolutely fucking wank.

Megadeth – Kill The King Lyrics 11 years ago
"well, i have a different view, when i hear the chorus, i think that there is this girl which he really loves but she is already in a relationship so he wants to "kill the king" and take his place by her side. my view. but this was before i looked at what others thought. "

-Bollocks.
Why does somebody always say that a song is about a relationship, or politics, or some shit.
It isn't. I think this song could just be about "Killing the King", nothing more, nothing less.

He's not keen on the king, so he kills him. Then writes an awesome song about it, aptly named "Kill the King".

I've just got into the misfits, and I've been using this site to try to select the "best" songs, based on the comments. I've noticed that on every single misfits song, someone writes "This is THE BEST misfits song".
Weird eh?

Metallica – Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy cover) Lyrics 11 years ago
Ok this is NOT the correct interpretation of the song, but when I first heard it, it meant this to me:

Some (poor) guy is kicked out of the army (possibly for drunkeness), his "boss" or captain, was of course, "Captain Farrell". As he is heading back home to the only good thing in his life (his girlfriend Jenny/Molly) he sees "Captain Farrell", and knowing that his girlfriend will be pissed off when he comes home drunk, sacked and penniless, robs the fucker. When he brings the money home, she tells him she love him and she' never leave him. They have sex and he finds "Whiskey in the jar", if you know what i mean (basically, Jenny/Molly has been cheating on him with none other than Captain Farrel), when Captain Farrel shows up at Molly's chamber, he kills him, and is put in jail.

It just shows that no matter how much you love someone, no matter how hard you try to look after them or make them happy, if you don't have money there will always be some rich fucker trying to take what little you have away from you. The narrator of this song is an example to self-made men everywhere, don't let anyone fuck you about, stand up for yourself, look after you family and your friends and especially your girls, and if anyone tries to interfere, fuck them up.

Ok, this is what the song is really about. A sadistic, yet truly romantic guy has a habit of fucking, then killing his girlfriends. Then he meets "Amy" fucks her, then kills her, then as he moves on to his next girl, "Julie" he realises that he actually loved Amy. "Julie doesn't scream aswell": The way she screams (in both orgasm, and in being murdered) seem old now, it does not thrill him anymore, since he killed the girl he loved, so he decides to redeem himself. "I'll be over [to your grave], just as soon as i fill them all in [properly bury all the other girls he killed]". The rest is fairly overt, he misses her, they had "their song" etc.

He has murdered girls in every different way, now realising that it doesn't matter how he kills them because they all die in the end "There's 52 ways to murder anyone, 1 or 2 are the same and they both work as well".

Seems about right to me.
