What I think everyone should do is stop arguing over OPINIONS. Everyone's got them and chances are someone's opinion is gonna be different. And not accepting someone else's point of view just shows that your ignorant and you don't want to learn anything else. Anyway, I like this song a lot but it's true about all these little girls singing it not knowing what it's about. But that's not Aaliyah's fault. It's the parents. |

I heard somewhere that it was about Elvis Costello. And it does fit rather well. Elvis Costello made those remarks about James Brown and Ray Charles why drunk and then tried to play it off. Regardless, I love TMBG and Elvis Costello either way. |
