This song always makes me think of my girlfriend but that's 'cos I'm an insecure loser. To me, the girl in the song is kinda stuck with this guy, she has no confidence, smokes alot of shit and gets treated like dirt by her boyfriend...but can't leave him cos she loves him and thinks he may change. a classic, sad story. Finn is urging her to leave him, giving her confidence "You can make them like you". I'm most likely wrong - insecure loser, you see. |
