it is an awesome song. "i'll let you stand on your own again while your playing the victim." i'm pretty sure that means when your on your own you are totally vulnerable. you are the victim. when he says, "i'll let" that's future tense so obviolsy it hasn't happened yet. "If I’m the villain, well then take me all away" i'm pretty sure that's him saying that he doesn't want to be the villian. he doesn't want or mean to hurt anyone "If I had the blade, I’d cut the strings down from your limbs, and let you get away" like if it was up to him he wouldn't hurt the perosn he was talking about. only it wasn't up to him. and he wasn't the one resposible for the other person's pain. and yeah, it does sound like he's in a bad relationship. and he sees the girl as the toxin, and that's poisoning him so maybe he is the villian, but he doesn't want to be. like bitterness is making him something he's not. |

it's about how people build walls and not let anyone see inside their hearts, because they're tired of being hurt because they aloud themselves to be vulnerable. and eventually how you get trapped inside your own walls. you love them, and you feel attached to them because it they're torn down your left totally exposed. but you hate them and you want out because your basically a prisoner. |

At one of their concerts, i remember them saying this song meant alot to them because it was about their relationship with God. --- that makes sence, i mean, you do depend on Him to hold you in a storm, you really do, but every other time you just don't make the time for Him. or is you want to go the guy girl relationship and you look at it through the girl's side, you see how much that would hurt, so you can se it from both sides. that didn't make sence did it? |

well i like this cd... actually this is my favorite song ever. it's chessy but in a good way. i'm pretty sure it's more of a " yeah, my heart is broken, i'm gonna tell the world, and have fun at the same time. and it'll feel good." something like that. |
