The Outlaws – Green Grass and High Tides Lyrics

I absolutely agree with MKC, this song is a perspective and heavenly look on what the song is itself.
What art is about is to look into your own soul, and find emotional or intellectual comfort. Or just a spiritual journey through song. |

Not many songs can make me cry from melody alone.
I admit, this song made me cry like a baby. T_T
Hell, this entire story is a cry-fest. |

I think you can only understand it if you are on drugs.
But this is exactly what Led zeppelin wanted, they new all their fans at concerts were druggies.
I think this song speaks to you on drugs, and it tells you to get off drugs...
Instead of saying "drugs are bad m'kay" they found a way to connect with them...
I won't lie i did my fair share, weed and coke...
but who hasn't.
Led zeppelin are doing god's work!!!!!!!
This song is amazing... |

King Crimson – 21st Century Schizoid Man Lyrics

It's a concern for the future, and how we rely and treat things with technology, and surroundings, instead of love and nature.
In this example, how future schizophrenics will find technology and nothing else. |

the worms were all the major influences in his life.
his mother, teacher, wife, and the judge himself.
Waiting for the worms, is waiting, and waiting to finally feel guilt. guilt for the harm he caused others. guilt for building his wall. |

We are all lunatics, because we need the moon as much as the sun.
We cannot live with only light, we cannot live with only darkness, because we are human.
Damn, great album. |

Pink Floyd – Jugband Blues Lyrics

I agree, floyd never cared for him.
You can see syd crying for help in almost every song he wrote. And everyone ignored his messages.
Syd thought his dream was for people to recognize his pain. But instead it all turned into a joke.
And thats why he quit. Because others could not understand him... And in the end, he could not understand himself either...
Then floyd made money off of him, 'calling' him insane. psh, this is really upsetting... |

Some people speculate this album is about communication problems within the band.
To add to that. I have a theory this album is about the entire floyd timeline, in order.
"What do you want from me" could be about syd, and a little back before his breakdown. "keep talking" could be about roger and his control, album after album. "marooned" could be right after Syd's departure when the rest of floyd didn't know what was next. "A great day for freedom", could be about the fame and break they had with Dark side of the moon.
I don't know, i am just looking at the titles. It is fun though, and can make a lot of sense.
But it only makes sense if you look at them in order. beginning to end, it looks like the floyd timeline. |

"Leading the blind while I stared out the steel in your eyes" This is exactly about the leading of syd. Always looking into his eyes, filled with future.
Why did syd break down? Well, i think he saw potential in the band even after he would leave.
Syd probably didn't want to continue that lonely life of stardom anyway.
But yes, this song is about the band and it's birth (with syd) and rebirth. (without syd) |

It seems he is saying he would like the band to move on without him. Syd had his moment with the wind. So Syd predicted his fate.
This song is great! |

Some people play the second cd first, then the first cd right after.
Thus this is the last song.
So yes, in that context it is probably a suicide song. |
