Five Iron Frenzy – You Can't Handle This Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i dont think so guys. i think it means people who are smart/dorks/geeks mayb seem lesser than other more "popular" people who are percieved as cooler especially in scenarios like high school but in reality its the other way round. |
Rx Bandits – Innocense Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i think its a love song and in the song and the girl (i presume tis a girl) has done something wrong to hurt the guy, but she doesnt care at the time. then later she realises her mistakes but by then its to late and the guy has become wise enough to not be with her anymore. essentially its about growing up and maturing. |

i dought it emphasises womans importance in gods plan, on account of god values women far less than men hence does not value their importance very much at all... and i quote 1 Corinthians 11:9 " Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. " seems more like its about mary and jesus, but there are alot of allusions to modern day womans lives "Behold the covers, the sisters, the mothers, the daughters, and spouses, on the magazines. " so there could be an extended metaphor there. |
Propagandhi – Stick The Fucking Flag Up Your Goddamn Ass, You Sonofabitch Lyrics | 17 years ago |
this song is about freedom, the military and politics. the politicans preech but often this is just sweet talk/rethoric for votes and once there in power they do as they wish. similar to this there is a culture amongst concervatives such as chris hannahs dad who talk of freedom when infact thier actions are directcly against it (i.e. cannot burn the flag even though their "pro-freedom" , they do not have the freedom to oppose only to obey, which is not true freedom. |

Propagandhi – Haillie Sellasse, Up Your Ass Lyrics | 17 years ago |
this song is about rastafarianis, although it took me a while to realise this. many of the lyrics connatate towards israel /palestien or jwish ideas like zionism/mt sion... the west bank etc etc. however zion also exists in the rastafarianism religion which is africa/ethiopa (ethiopians were sent to jamaca by force as slaves). rastafarians have made hallie sesaile thier god, even though that is not what he chose( he was a christian). this represents the stupidity religion can sometimes pertain. this song uses rastafarianism for the pointlesessnes of religion in general |

Propagandhi – Anti-Manifesto Lyrics | 17 years ago |
its about not selling out. its about what music is really about, the message, rather than the money. those who are passionate like prpagandhi make real music and people apreciate it and are deddicated to it. others who like bands who are just a fad playing music that is popular will not last. its also about "Punk" bands making money off the punk image/culture but not being true punks. you can definitly see this with the 911 fiasco and the warp tour |
