| yeah, i think the song is supposed to be his take/support of feminism. i like the lyrics, but i think phrases like "the brick of self-control" are a little awkward. oh well. Great song. it shows that billy joe used to be a lot more subtle with his lyrics | |

| The Police – Born In The 50's Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Er... George Starostin, are you the same George Starostin who did those reviews for that site? Wow... You're not dead. Okay, on topic: The song is pretty catchy, so I ignore the annoyoing lyrics, but looking at them now, I see waht you mean. They are really arrogant. >>;; Why would anyone want to brag about being born in the 50's anyway? The 50's were critically lacking in a sense of humor. Other than beatniks. Beatniks are funny. Oh and the Cold War. That was a riot. |

| of Montreal – A Collection of Poems About Water Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This is one of my fave Of Montreal songs. Listen to that melody! As to what it's about, I guess it's about this guy saying that rainy day's don't make him sad, but rather it's him feeling alone that does. And stuff like that. |

I have no clue what this song is about, but it's cute and it's catchy. And why has no one commented on any of Slapp Happy's songs? Jebus Rice. |
