I just don't like Frehley's voice. It's always so emotionless. It's almost ruined some really good songs, like this one. He's just not a singer. The main singers in KISS are Gene and Paul, and there's a reason for that.

I wouldn't say the album was ignored. When it was released, KISS' popularity was at an all time low. But the album is kind of a fan favourite. I Love It Loud is still played at pretty much every show.

To me this song is about a Christian who is hiding his faith, and is struggling to tell anyone about God. God is the only one that knows he's holding back, and he's asking God to tear down the walls that are preventing him from spreading God's word.

I would have loved to hear Rod Stewart sing this song. Although Criss does a pretty good job, and I really don't like most of the songs he sings.

KISS – Crazy, Crazy Nights Lyrics	16 years ago
The first comment said it's a little cheesy, well it's not any cheasier than Shout it Out Loud, which is played at every show. I don't get why Gene and Paul have completely written off this song (and the album). This was a pretty successful song, so why don't they play it live? As for what the song's about, it's most likely about standing up for yourself.
