System of a Down – Drugs Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Daron Malakian telling it like it was. Since he was in Holland, he'd obviously been making use of their nice liberal laws. I love the Dutch. |
Tool – Hooker with a Penis Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Some guy tried to attack Maynard on stage during this song back in '96. Maynard floored and dry humped him. That is what this song is all about. I only worked out the lyrics a week ago - been singing it all week now. |
Eminem – Without Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Of course the problem here is that people don't realise that the negative reactions Eminem's music recieves is exactly what fuels rants like these - as he says himself in he song "...sometimes the shit just seems everybody only wants to discuss me So this must mean I'm dis-gus-ting But it's just me, I'm just obscene No I'm not the first king of controversy I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley to do black music so selfishly and used it to get myself wealthy (Hey!!) There's a concept that works" Of course many people would argue that Eminem's self-comparison with the legend that is Elvis Presley is unjustified, but if you look back you'd see that Elvis caused as much contraversy when he started out as Eminem caused. Both played music that traditionally belonged to the Black community and they both had risqué features - Elvis' performance was accused of promoting promiscuity and reckless behaviour (terrible things in that time period), whilst Eminem's lyrics were littered with irresponsible references to 'ghetto' culture. Eminem = Elvis of the 2000's. |
Eminem – Kim Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song, like Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff, gets a bad reputation because it deals with feelings nearly everyone has had at some point in their life. They've been cheated on or been dumped and the only way people can make themselves feel a bit better is by imagining that they are hurting the person as much physically as they hurt you mentally. |
Slipknot – Spit It Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Sorry that this is on a different post - laptop touchpad and all that ^^ Secondly to all you who are arguing as to whether Iowa is good for its nu metal or its punk... get a life. I mean Birmingham in the UK is considered to be the home of Metal as well as dance music - you don't get Metal- and DrumNBass-heads arguing over which Birmingham should be liked for. I stand by my own principal that no kind of music is shit, just different. And if you can't play an instrument to a REASONABLE level of proficiency, you aren't qualified to comment on the shitness of a song. |
Slipknot – Spit It Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
First off - this song is the shit. Anyone wo disagrees should 1) write a better song on the same subject and 2) try singing it. It's fucking hard to do! |
Incubus – Follow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
*Quote*: "1st Movement of the Odessey is better" *Endquote* That is Follow, numbnuts, just as Everything In Ebb is the 4th Movement of the Odessey. This song is just pure Incubus. Freaky first few minutes of possible jamming then *BAM* it hits you with that whole Incubus sound. To me this song is just about dropping everything and doing something that you want, regardless of the consequences. |
Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This is Soulja Boy's rant about how he was unpopular and discriminated against as a boy and now he's a famous rapper he can "Superman that ho" who turned him down at school and he's "Jacking on those haters" who beat him up as a child. Not to everyone's taste, but it isn't quite as meaningless as it seems at first listen. |
Nine Inch Nails – Right Where It Belongs Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is made to be played at the end of concerts. People crying, waving thier hands, holding lighters in the air. Beautiful. It beats Hurt 10/10 times. I think it's about whe people say "Be truthful to yourself" and when you come down to it... you can't. |
Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is strange... 10 years ago, this kind of thing would have been abandoned to the early hours of the morning along with The Prodigy's 'Smack Ma Bitch Up' It's a good song, but it loses its appeal when you hear 12-year-old girls singing it... Nearly as good as Jay-Z though. I liked it alot. Oh! And on the subject of Jay-Z - he's not only headlining Glastonbury Festival this year, but he and Linkin Park are bringing Pr0j3kt R3v0lut10n to Milton Keynes Bowl! Yay! |
Nine Inch Nails – Capital G Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Trent Reznor has said that the 'G' stands for greed. |
Tribal Ink – Refugee Lyrics | 17 years ago |
this has been credited to linkin park in several of the illegal "pre-release" versions of minutes to midnight. good song though. |
Linkin Park – H! Vltg3 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yeah, Oni if you don't like LP then get the fuck off the LP part of this site. God, some people are obsessive. |
Linkin Park – Giving In (feat. Adema) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Linkin Park – Dust in the Wind (Kansas cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
It's cool. and so is thier cover of Sweet C/O' Mine |
Linkin Park – Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
1) Jay-Z ws approached by MTV to do one of the shows for Mash-Ups and was asked who *he* wanted to do the show with. He's a fan of LP and so he wanted to do a show with them. 2) yeah, it probably is LP's worst release, but it still is goddam cool. Jay-Z is a good rapper and LP are just amazing. |
Linkin Park – The Little Things Give You Away Lyrics | 17 years ago |
You guys shouldn't have even heard it yet. Ah, are you the fucking cunts who download illegal versions of the album and then do the band out of thier hard earned money? Fuckers. |
KoЯn – Wicked (feat. Chino Moreno) (Ice Cube cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yeah, this is one of the only decent songs on "...Peachy" |
KoЯn – Porno Creep Lyrics | 17 years ago |
this song is one of the few i liked on the mainly pathetic Life is Peachy. The others are Good God and Wicked, which features amazing assistance from Chino Moreno from the defTones This song is a great song to meditate to, the rest of KoRn's stuff is great to mosh to. Medatating to Nu Metal instrumentals is something I enjoy doing and you're not gonna take that away from me |
Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory (feat. Grey Daze) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
If you find a copy of it on limewire, then it'll probably be credited to Linkin Park feat. Grey Daze |
Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory (feat. Grey Daze) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Nope, definately Hybrid Theory - it was recorded before Chester had even left Grey Daze - LP called themselves Hybrid Theory at that point |
Linkin Park – Don't Stay Lyrics | 17 years ago |
You forgot to mention the bit where the Chairman (Hahn) scrathces a recording of Brad saying "F-f-foreword" right at the end. This song reminds me of One Step Closer - but like a reverse of it's meaning - One Step Closer was all like 'FUCK OFF' ("I'm ABOUT TO BREAK!"), whilst Don't Stay is kinda 'I'm sorry' |
Linkin Park – Foreword Lyrics | 17 years ago |
'Cording to Spike Shinizzle himself it was him "...smashing my shitty cd burner on my coffee table... with an aluminium baseball bat... which kinda broke the table." It hints at the dark, sophomore tone of the album that follows. |
Linkin Park – Technique Lyrics | 17 years ago |
It's like "cure..." but compressed into 40 seconds of amazing sharpness. The perfect interlude to any playlist. |
Linkin Park – The Little Things Give You Away Lyrics | 17 years ago |
How have you got the lyrics for this song already? It isn't due for international release until the 14/15th of May! |
Linkin Park – Given Up Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Where do I get this song? |
Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory (feat. Grey Daze) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
It is a fuckin amzining song. And that solo. Cool as... |
Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory (feat. Grey Daze) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is techically credited as "Hybrid Theory feat. Grey Daze", since it was the demo that got Chester into LP. Damn straight, it is LP |
Linkin Park – Cure for the Itch Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is the high-point of rock-electronica. It's just *wow*! Oh, by the way SHKOPF, it wasn't just the drummer. the whole band record samples and then Chairman Hahn does his, as he puts it, "icing on the cake". His remix of the same song is also amazing. Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! Joseph! |
Linkin Park – And One (Outro) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Spit drips from the jaw o' the witless witness Cryptic colloquialism shifts the misfits Dark all I do embark the shadows Involved with my thought catalogue, analogue, rap catalogue Keep my distance and fear resistance, hurt by persistance That twisted web that tangles lies Strangles my hope to waste and numbs the taste And I'm forced to face these hate-crimes Against the state of being Feeling the weight-less-ness pressed 'tween tubes Feeling, readin' the round rules Riding a bubble o' sound proofin' The frequency making you Set, shake with every boom Involuntary muscle contraction In-orientation, drinkin' musical gas feel euphoria The sound pounds to make the dead flush To have you a head rush with red rhymes and s-ad stuff Get it right. Amazing ryhming though |
Linkin Park – Behind Your Lies Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is actually Qwerty. |
Linkin Park – Sweet Child o' Mine (Guns N Roses cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Linkin Park – Session Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is an amazing track to meditate to. That said, it's also good to fight to. |
Linkin Park – 1stp Klosr Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song has a bloody amazing intro. It's like, they completly ignored any pretentious shit as to how the song is 'supposed' to sound. |
