| i agree that this song is political. i think it's about the desire for societal change, and that you can't just sit around and wait for things to change, you've got to take initiative and make it happen. it's about getting restless with the state of the world, about waiting for other people to come around to your revolutionary ideas. the song ends with, "you've got to give it time," perhaps saying that one person can't bring about a revolution, but with time, and enough people, change will come. | |

i don't think "i think about you every second" means hes in love with her or anything, it just means he cares about her, and is thinking about her...and doesn't want her to let anything stand in her way. the way he tells the story before this song at a concert is one of the funniest things of my life. |

i think this has to do with, how you can be around tons of people but still feel so lonely. you just want to get away, clean up your head, turn up the music really loud and forget about it; you want to be left alone. i discovered this song by accident one day, a looong time ago, on my ipod with no name or artis or anything, and i was trying desperately to figure out what it was, and i couldn't. but i finally did, and now jens lekman is one of my favorites. i think it's wonderful. |
