I may not enjoy most of ICP's stuff, but I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy this song. I just like the way it sounds. I don't associate with the haters, or the guys who are against. It makes sense why they'd call a lot of this stuff Miracles. Sure, they have some stupid lines, but every bands gunna have songs with stupid parts. It's just natural. It's depressing though. Why do we have white knights crusading against the music they hate. We got the people defending their own likes against people that don't agree. How about we just drop the swords & torches and just go back to the stuff we like? This seems to be focused around the Æsir—Vanir War. Mimir & Hænir were the two Asagods sent over to Vanaheim. This is also the start of Odin's quest for knowledge possibly. I think people are just being too literal with this song. They wanna sound intelligent. I have nothing for or against this band, since I've heard of their name but not their stuff until a guy told me to listen to this. Sure, we know HOW it happens now, but it's still amazing to just think that it DOES happen. And last time I checked, you can easily muffle / reflect / diffract sound without needing a college level phsyics class. Put something to block the sound close enough, it'll be muffled. Ironic enough, I was looking for a starcraft vid and saw someone put its movie scenes to this song. When I Downloaded it i found it was on Halo 2 and told myself - Well, looks like something good DID come from Halo. What was so funny was at only the strongest will survive, TWO TIMES This happened - 1st time it says that, some guy activates the detonate button on a bomb, destroying the whole space platform. 2nd time 3 Alien scourge, a suicidal AA unit, attacked a Battlecruiser, and it started to crash onto the planet of Korhal. Along with the Tidal Wave, as a Terran Marine was attacked by 40 Zerglings. God i feel like such a nerd... ANYWAY, I'ma take this from the Starcraft point of view for 2 reasons - 1, I have not Played Halo at all, except for twice on the comp, and 2, I saw this on a Starcraft Vid, so it seems to click me there. They fall in line, one at a time, coming to play. I can't see them anyway. Refers to the Dark Templar, a unit of the Protoss, they are blind, and permanently cloaked *so you can't seem them and vice versa* They sense their enemies presence, and are the most disciplined soldiers. They tend to have a dry humor though. No time to lose, We've got to move. Show me the way. This shows the fact that it's a fast paced game, if your slow your gunna die. Show me the way refers to the fact that someone's gotta show you the way on how to be fast, *like my brother did :|* After the fall we'll shake it off, show me the way. Means that if you lose you may shake it off and be shown the way to victory. Fire your guns, its time to run, Blow me away. (I will stay in the mess I made) means that you better be ready to move or fire, and blow the enemies to hell and back twice over. It does 40 damage, so its just weaker than a Battlecruiser. Adun is the protoss heaven, and their common greeting is En Taro Adun, or if remembering their long lost hero Tassadar, En Taro Tassadar. So basically... This song seems to be about battle, and online games, so games like Halo click with this. ANYWAY.......... It's about knowing what to do and when, and how to do it. You may know WHAT To do, but how will you? You also need to be at your strongest at all times, so that no weakness is shown. If you show supremacy, you can overcome anything, even in death, for you'll be led to heaven. |
