I agree with No Hero, up above there. The only other thing I might add to this is that it could be about fighting the system. The anger and desire to make a change and shake the system to the ground is strong (especially as young kids, "pre-pubes") but as you get older you let other things get in the way (boredom, drinking, etc.) People move on without fighting, and in the end nothing changes because everyone's drive petered out. |

I feel that the song is about all the non-Christian (IE: non-saved) people that will either be left on earth, or go down to Hell after the Second Coming. So, he's saying that all of us (Kind Diamond, the kid in the corner with sweat pants--which is actually Todd the Rod) are all going to be down in Hell (or on earth) together. All because we weren't satisfied with the answers the Bible/Christianity gave us. |
