iheartedwardcullen is being very ignorant by posting things like that. nobody on this page was forcing Christianity on you & nobody was using Jesus as an excuse. as for the meaning of the song, of course ppl are going to immediatly think of Jesus b/c Skillet is a Christian band. nobody is disputing the fact that there is more than one meaning-any good song will have multiple meanings.and as far as i can see, you're the only one being "a shallow-minded reatrd." if you've ever been to a Skillet show, you'll see just how passionate they are about God. maybe their love will rubb off on you. sounds like you need a little positivity in your life... |

Idk if this is accurate but I'm reading "Slaughterhouse-Five" by Kurt Vonnegut n there's a line on pg. 64 that says, "The reserves were violent, windburned, bristly men. THEY HAD TEETH LIKE PIANO KEYS." i almost jumped out of my seat in English class after i read that. Idk if Craig is an avid reader but nonetheless, i thought it was a good call on their part to title the song after the craziest book i've ever read in my life |

when i saw skillet @ kingdom bound this week, john said it was aobut a girl who came up to him at a show and said that she was going to kill herself because her life was so messed up. she cut herself and her parents didn't really get her. john talked to her and said that this was his response to it all. |

this is prolly one of my fav songs on the album. to me, this song has to do with God. For example, the lines:
"Hands like secrets are the hardest thing to keep from you, Lines and phrases like knives Your words can cut me through,Dismantle me down,Repair, You've dismantled me,You've dismantled me"
They mean that you can't keep secrets from God and as far as not being able to keep your hands from God, he can't stop praising Him or something. And God's Word cuts to the core of this individual and makes him raelzie his faults. So God "dismantles" him but then by His love "repairs" him back. I dunno, I might be wrong but that's what I think...I love this song tho...Very catchy |

You can buy the book for like, $20 or you can print the first page of his songs for free. It's weird but w/e...His music is really sweet! Hope this is of some help to people. |

This song is so cool...It's not like the "vintage" Matches but still Matches-esque nonetheless...I'm not really sure wat it's about...It sounds like maybe a "war" song how when he was growing up there wasn't one and if there was, it wasn't a huge deal but for 2day's kids, war is everywhere and it's harder 2day...I'm not sure if that assumption is rite but the song it great. |

-Number 2...i think this song has summin 2 do w/ his cancer b/c the song has a meaning like w/ his cancer he feels depressed and alone and how nobody knows what he's going through...And "dark blue" is such a deep, depressing, cold color...He was clearly writing about his cancer and stuff...

My favorite part "I'd crack concret falling down for you"...He loves her so much he'd do pretty much anything for her...I think it's about a couple that the girl falls out of love with the guy but he still loves her and doesn't want to let her go...He still has hope that it can work...He doesn't want her to tell him that she doesn't love him anymore b/c then he knows it's over and he just wants one last dance with her...
