Can't believe no one has commented on this great song... i agree with finn, they are known for 500 miles but this is such a great song it should be atleast as well known. it tells a story about how he thought that was it in his life and there is no were to go and its the best its gonna be. but then he meets as i think a girl who shows him there is more to life. |

the boy in the vid is played by danny dyer hes jus a general "geeza" with a cocky atitude and general tendancy to get up to no good and cheat. The girl is tottaly in love with him.

i think "the thin ice of modern life" part is showing how easy it is to go from being on top of the world and everything going well for you to being nothing a nobody with no were to go nothing to look forward to but thats just my opinion i also think "dont be suprised" is a warning of how easy it can happen. and pink floys lyrics mean different things to everyone so make your own mind up its what it means to you thats important thats whats so great about this band! |
