I don't know why... but this song reminds me of King Kong, the great monkey. It seems like a song he would write with his own perspective, and the nature that she describes is like in the jungle he lives in. I too can relate. I was once with a "divorced" man, well at least he claimed to be. Then I noticed he still had feelings for his ex and they also had a child... And everyone was suffering. But I was too much in love with him, that it hurt leaving him because I too said I didn't love him when it wasn't true. But you have to hurt that other individual in order for them to understand, it's also a good way for them to get detached from you faster.
