"But I’m scared I’ll get scared and I swear I’ll try to nail you back up" this means he thinks he's gonna get scared and try to do exactly what the jews did to Jesus...they got scared and thought it wasn't them so they crucified him...he's afraid when Jesus comes back to get him that he's going to get scared that it might not be him and he'll try to crucifye him again. "Jesus Christ, that's a pretty face The kind you'd find on someone that could save" this one is obvious...he's talking about Jesus duhh...all he's doing is explaining how in love with Jesus Christ he is. all in all I think this song is about a christian who has doubts...he's afraid of Jesus second coming...not noly because he fears he won't believe it's him and do something wrong...but he's afraid of what's going to happen to the world "we turn out hate in factories" obviously saying the world is messed up...so it's about a guy that's afraid of the rapture...understandable if you think about it...which is something I can relate to cause I've been there...I remember I used to fear Jesus's second coming hardcore for some reason when I should've been looking forward to it...but seriously...all evidance in this song points to that topic and this song was written amazingly... |

| this is an awesome song...I love like no other...I think I could probably say it's my favorite cause it got me through some rough times...I may not be a very great person but this song always reminds me that God is there and will always be there for me no matter what and listening to this song any time I'm feeling down lifts me up..."and I know that I can't fly, but when I'm in your arms I'm holding up the sky" this means I'm nothing without you...alone I'll always fall but with you I can do anything...'you rose from the ashes like a pheonix with a heartache now you're taking me away with you tonight" means you died and rose from that in order to save me and now you're taking me away from all this pain and showing me a whole new world...I love this song...it's incredibly well written the lyrics are so inseane...Dave if you or any of the other guys from kitw read this...I want you guys to know that you're a phenominal band and unlike most bands these days...you earned what you've got and you deserve alot more then what you have...I look up to you more than I look up to any other band on earth...especially Dave Pelsue...you're a phenominal vocalist...everytime I listen to one of your songs a chill goes through my body cause you guys are just that good...you guys relate to me and how I feel better than anyone else on Earth | |
