reading this song specifically reminds me of something i recently went through. my interpretation: you know how when you ask someone not to do anything, and you want to believe them when they promise, but your gut just nags, and you find out you were right? that's this song. he for sees something, and is told it is fine. his gut makes the day drag. the uncertainty is what is killing him. the rain stopping is him getting that answer either way, the uncertainty ending. that's just my interpretation. |
