This actually reminds me of my best friend who died due to heart failure in December (16 years old).
It started with him coughing blood on his bed. ("Hands on the mirror... Now that you're bleeding.")
Song reminds me of how the doctor was telling his older brother (17-years-old) that he was getting better, when he was actually getting worse. ("Doctor, could you be my priest. You say you're mistaken, but look what you've taken. You laugh as you smile through your teeth."
Eventually I was getting pissed off enough to consider violence to get the doctor to help him out... ("I won't stand around and I won't watch you die.")
His brother told me I shouldn't visit him, but I needed to and did anyway. ("You know I could be there... I swore not come but I'm here after all." |
