The Dandy Warhols – The Coffee And Tea Wrecks Lyrics

This song reminds me of a group of friends going for a long drive in the desert. And pulling over on the side of the road in the tranquil desert night with a full moon..and getting stoned off your faces. |

The Dandy Warhols – Ride Lyrics

This song is about Courtney going for joyrides with his friend from down the street when they were young. His friend would take his dad's car and pick him up and they'd listen to Candy-O by The Cars. Courtney really admired him and thought he was cool because he could drive. The song We Used to Be Friends is about the same person. |

This is "The Message" to all those people out there, the exclusive little group of ~true~ Dandys fans. The people out there who think "hey, i'm not a freak, i'm not alone" when listening to Dandy Warhols records. Courtney wants to take all of us to another planet, away from this crappy earth with all its damage. This is YOUR song. :) |

The Dandy Warhols – All The Money Or The Simple Life Honey Lyrics
| 18 years ago

all the money = fame + loads of money, but also lots of people and "the man" taking advantage of you.
the simple life = a normal, peaceful, family life in a ranch style home, not running from "the man" or doing anything he says.

The Dandy Warhols – We Used To Be Friends Lyrics

This song isn't actually about The Brian Jonestown Massacre, it's about an old friend of Courtney's. They used to be friends when they were kids - the song "Ride" is actually about the same person. Courtney only saw him once in a while so he wrote this song. |
