This is the best song ever written ... it is my all time favourite .Everytime listen to it , it reflects soemthing out of my life ... lyrically , no doubt it is unparellal and the soothing guitar notes of Gilmour makes it more heartbreaking ... This is a kinda song everyone may like it ,atleast some of the lines are amazingly written and personally I adore the voice of David Gilmour . |

This song is about falling in love with a slut .This song is not all about prostitution , something philosophical how a guy falls in love with a harlot ,,, a true love (... and I am pretty sure I am not overanalyzing ).
Anyway, apart from the lyrical beauty , I just like the way it is sung especially the 'Roxanne ' part .
