| i love this song so much. i personally think that strongbad7286 hit the nail on the head with his interpretation. i can comepletely relate to this song beacuse i feel like the girl in this situation. the one who wont show the feelings. and i feel so bad about it too. because this guy would die fore me literally. and i love him so much but i cant find the words. i know it would never work between us. and we were together for a month or so but now i know its the end. its mainly because i cant handle myself right now. i have a lot of issues. but my issues seem so small compared to his. and i feel completely selfish for breaking up with him when i was his world. this is why i love the format so much beacuse its very easy to identify with thier lyrics and music. and everytime i recite these lyrics it seems to circle back on me with one after another painfil memory of him. i hope we can survive | |

| it seems more so that it would have to deal with ADD or depression rather than x beause like kopilo said justin explained on the warped tour that its about medication. the other thing people don't realize is that people with ADD do end up with depresion quite frequently. so the medicine they take for depession cand end up with the ADD meds. and you get more hyper wich makes you more depressed because you cant foucus or fit in, and day after day it turns into a viciuos cycle. exspecially when you feel like the medicine barely works. love the song rteminds me of myself. ha. right. like therapy works. | |

| i know everyone is gonna think this is a " of course" or more frankly a " duh!" moment. but it seems to me that this song and most of his songs are about defeating most of his inner demons. like in modern chemistry, how he talks about the synapsis, which relate to extasy use and all the songs that talk about therapy, depression, his insceurities, his addictions, and his past relationships with women and his family. i think that in this last album he is finally trying to pick up the pieces. more so than the last. anyways this is an incredible song and i am glad it is fianlly released on the limited edition cd. and thank you guys for the invisible monsters thing. i gotta pick up that book. | |

| obviously this song is about his mother. like crazyasian14 said on the 3rd page. if you haven't seen the music video he travels to her cemetary. and in the begining in the song its recording of his mother playing before she died. he obviously had somekind of addiction. ( just beacuse he says he's sober doesn't just mean "alcohal" it could also mean drugs) i personally think that this is thier most powerful song on their album. the rest is kinda floaty and doesn't fit in. i really like the message in this song. he's kind of asking for forgiveness in a diagrotory way. like he knows she should hate him but by him saying that she should he wants forgiveness because she was always too helpful and nice. expesically since he treated her like crap apperantly. | |

( i got my vans ready) lol. this song is i think not just about the kids that used to pick on him but also about the corperate bullies, and bosses that push people around. i think this may be about the in famous Matt in " open the door" ( matt makes his muderous demands full of fumes i take a stand/and its all uphill from here ( at least i hope so)) so that may ahve a connection because the lyrics in this song heavily remind me of that line. you know the little guy who stands up to the bullies to find a fair view of each other on both sides. | |

| it basically saying the horrors of drug addiction.how even though the high might feel right and make a certain saddness or boredom go away it's still a lie. even though the thought of getting high is on your brain and it cries out to you, it's still a thought of fake happiness. this song is about how drugs can be the only way of coping with something to certain people, and how quitting the drug is even harder than coping with life itself. the lyrics in this song hit me so hard sometimes. it reminds me of my dad. though he may have only been addicted to weed. the drug hit my family so hard. so he went into rehab out of my family's cries and pleads. and five months later he comes home slightly damaged from all of the stress and depression our cracked portrait held. so this song really speaks to me. we can all still see the scars of sadness in each others eyes now. i really wish sometimes that we could all just disappear from life that drugs destroy. at least the person who wrote this does, and i can assure you that they are pleading with this song, and using it as a closed mouth warning to everyone who has ever though of using dagerous drugs like herion. | |

| calm like a bomb. really like the statement you said about the "pros" i mean i think RATM is one of the greatest political music influces in some of our music today. i think that evil empire is one of thier greatest. and system of a down is very political but somewhat random. like jet pilot. and bounce, but is he REALLY talking about a pogo stick or something else? hmmm. anyways i guess back to the song itself. i think this is one of alkaline's most catchiest songs. his raspy vocals in this one constantly get the one-liner of the chourus stuck in my head. the song i think isn't really "anti-radio" but more of breaking up and then constantly hearing perky songs or maybe song reminding him of her and visa-versa. because of his use of "our" and "both" in the lyrics. but then again this song could be interpreted many different ways. | |
