Arctic Monkeys – Dancing Shoes Lyrics 18 years ago
Possibly the best song on the album. Album is better than i expected. But they are over-hyped. Can't see how they can progress without a new direction.

And why ain't "Bigger Boys..." on the album? It's better than half of the songs on it.

Arctic Monkeys – Bigger Boys and Stolen Sweethearts Lyrics 18 years ago
Better than most of the tunes on the album. Don't know why it ain't on it. Anyone know?

Stereophonics – Deadhead Lyrics 18 years ago
Heard the mono demo version like 3 years ago. Was entitled Royal Flush then. Very catchy and different. Got a dark and menacing tone to it. Wouldn't like to say what it is about.

One of the best on the album.

Stereophonics – Plastic California Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is amazing. It grows and grows and the end part is the highlight.

Written about while they were either touring America i think. Just about how ppl can love the idea of california and others can regard it as fake or plastic.

Oh My God - The first comment

One of my favourite songs. This got me into the phonics. Just a balls out, fuck you, rock song. Amazing

It was written about a night they had at Johnny Depp's viper rooms. They were invited by him one night and there was a really weird show happening on stage. Hence the lines "Roll out the shock parade" and "freaks falling from a stage"

Stereophonics – Jealousy Lyrics 18 years ago
Really like this song, can take a few listens. The lyrics are really good. Just how jealousy can eat you up. Think most ppl can relate to that.

Don't particularly like the "four and twenty..." verses. But like it's dark feel on the other parts.

Stereophonics – Is Yesterday, Tomorrow, Today? Lyrics 18 years ago
Possibly the weakest on the album. I still love it but i think it and minute longer could have been cut.

Stereophonics – High as the Ceiling Lyrics 18 years ago
One of the better songs on their 4th album.

High energy song, excellent guitar riff and catchy lyrics. Don't think they're too deep.

Just a simple rock song. Love it.

Stereophonics – A Minute Longer Lyrics 18 years ago
Performance and cocktails has 13 songs. 10 are amazing (the opening 8 and the last 2) and the other 3 are good but not on the same level, this song is one of them.

I like it but i think it should have been a b-side.

Stereophonics – You Stole My Money, Honey Lyrics 18 years ago
Don't think this song is that deep. Pretty self-explanatary.

It's a grower and a good tune but it did have me worried as to the direction the phonics were going. But new album is back to form :)

No comments again. Meh

Too many fucking coldplay lovers in this world.

This ain't there best but it's a good tune. And better than anything Coldgay (Sp?) will ever produce Think it's about Kelly being in love with an older woman who seems to be too much for him. I don't know for sure.

Stereophonics – Check My Eyelids for Holes Lyrics 18 years ago
Ashamed cos there ain't no comments here

An amazing tune

Kelly said the song is basically about whether if someone gives you a blow job does that make everything okay and forgiven. The title is a saying that relates to ppl who lie.

It's a really fun song.

I love listening to it.

And i normally hate cheesy stuff. The chorus rules.

Don't know any other of their songs.

Neil Young – Heart Of Gold Lyrics 18 years ago
I think it's about searching for that someone.

Definetly one of his best despite what neil thinks himself. He is one of the best.

Stereophonics do a very good cover of this song.

John Lennon – How? Lyrics 18 years ago
How can i be the first to post?

This song is Lennon's best. Forget Imagine this is his best work. I dunno why ppl don't know this song.

It covers and touches so many aspects of our lives. "How can i give love when love is something i ain't never had?"

Stereophonics – Dakota Lyrics 18 years ago
The best song of 2005 without a shadow of a doubt.

I absolutely love it. It says a lot when i have heard it so many times and i still like it. Definetly has to be played loud.

The Verve – The Drugs Don't Work Lyrics 18 years ago
Yeah it's about his father. I remember i was quite young when it came out like 10 years ago. I first thought it was about drugs. But knowing the true meaning adds so much to the song.

I love the optimistic ending. "Yeah i know i'll see your face again".."Never going down, no more"

Barry White - Barry White

An amazing song. It's so cool.

Dunno what's it about. Possibly Barry White's music igniting passion into a ex-relationship lol.

Fun Lovin' Criminals – Big Night Out Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is immense. Their best. It's really good live as they play the chorus really fast as well as really slow.

Think the song is about an old player who's into cracked up supermodels.

Hence supermodels on my 'd'

d being dick i presume

Ash – Petrol Lyrics 18 years ago
I dunno what the song's about but i love it.

The guitar riff is amazing. Quite possibly my favourite ash song.

It's crude but i love it.

And it's all about that middle finger.

Stereophonics – Have A Nice Day Lyrics 18 years ago
It's about a taxi driver who told them all this rubbish about "selling out" and stuff. But at the end of the journey he said something like "that'll be $75, have a nice day." So he ended up being the hypocrit by charging an extortionate price for a short taxi journey after what he'd said previously.

The song isn't happy but somehow it got radio friendly. Kelly Jones hates the song now cos of this.
