pretty good song. i love how he says "bus" i saw them live a few months ago and i would get this huge smile across my face when i heard his accent shine through in their music again, a band that i loved long, long ago, before most people knew who the hell they were. maybe i take music too seriously, but i think a lot of music fans out there are such posers and fakes. |

i personally like this version a lot more than the CD version. i originally got my hands on a copy of this, before james blunt was known in north america, and loved it. the version in the music video isn't nearly as touching as this one. the music is different and there isn't a "my life is brilliant" in the first few seconds in the song like there is in the video version james blunt rocks. |

when i heard this song live i was on the verge of tears. it's sooooo wonderful live. the first part when noel first comes in with "slip inside..." gives me chills each time i hear it. i think the song is about a guy and a girl (sally) who were going to get together, but sally decided to not. the guy now has a new girlfriend, and when sally sees the 2 of them together she wishes she had chosen to be with the guy.
