At the precise moment of reading and listening to the lyrics I can only think that 'Sleeping three people' ... is me, you and the power of fantasy or dreams, as she already alludes to just 'me and you from wine too' ? Maybe the third 'person' is the Dawn or the Saxophonist? It's a good song and a clever mystery ... A small drumist? But that would be four? Mmm? ... |

I believe it to mean that David spent some time on a Greek Island, I think, with a few other people, friends, maybe lovers, musicians, don't really know for sure, but two of them are now deceased which inspired this beautiful and wistful song. I like it. |
