I very much like the idea of having one lyric for each ear, but I absolutely don't recommend it for everyone to use always. When I first listened to this song on my stereo (with speaker) I thought the whole band had gone crazy because I was barely able to hear some words once in a while, but after I found out about the stereo-thing it made sense and I liked this song even more, even though I have no idea what it's about. |

I watched MASH, the TV Series, for quite a long time and always loved the intro (I don't mention the rest, because everybody has to love MASH), but when I first saw the movie it was like a relevation. Suddenly the mood created by the instrumental version made perfekt sense. One of the best songs ever to come forth from the mind of a 14-year-old! |

Ich möchte zu Notiz geben, dass der Schluss (sprich: letzte Strophe) Samples aus der englischen Tonspur von 'Fight Club' sind, und ausnahmslos von Edward Norton gesprochen werden.
I would like to point out that the last stanza completely consist of Samples from the english soundtrack of the movie 'Fight Club'. These lines are all delivered by Edward Norton. |

The lyrics to this piece have been written down, along with more than 240 other lyrics, around 1230. They were rediscovered in the Monestry Benediktbeuren in 1803 and are thus called 'Codex Buranus'. Carl Orff found them in 1935 in the Bavarian National Library and composed a score for 24 of them, because the origianal melodies were not known. They were then released as 'Carmina Burana', carmen being latin for song. |
