Beneath the Sky – 7861 Lyrics 14 years ago
I like this song a lot. I had no idea it was an address, though.

submissions
Bleed the Sky – The Martyr Lyrics 14 years ago
This song reminds me of a darker chapter of my life so much that it's scary. It's as if the band knows me or something.

Mnemic – Meaningless Lyrics 14 years ago
This song MAY be about America. I can't say for sure.

submissions
Mnemic – Jack Vegas Lyrics 14 years ago
This song could be about a celebrity named Jack addressing the paparazzi on the real reason they won't leave him alone: because they want to be him.

Or at least that's how I see it. Shame for no other comments.

Bruce Dickinson – Silver Wings Lyrics 14 years ago
Some people refer to this song as "Aces High Part 2"

submissions
Bruce Dickinson – Space Race Lyrics 14 years ago
Wow, I love this song. I listen to it when I want to kind of relax and stuff.

submissions
Limp Bizkit – Break Stuff Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is an anthem for rambunctious 12 year-olds so they can run around their parents' house and break everything.

submissions
Limp Bizkit – 9 Teen 90 Nine Lyrics 14 years ago
LOL I'd like to see Fred Durst pick a fight with Ken Shamrock or Zakk Wylde.

submissions
Wintersun – Starchild Lyrics 14 years ago
At the beginning of the song, they're either talking about somebody with a very powerful imagination or somebody with autism.

Strapping Young Lad – S.Y.L. Lyrics 14 years ago
If it weren't for the thing at the end where Devin is trying to take somebody's order, I'd assume that Devin was working at Wal-Mart.

submissions
Strapping Young Lad – Far Beyond Metal Lyrics 14 years ago
I love the guitar solo in this song. And I do believe Devin Townsend and the band are openly attacking the rest of the music industry (most likely the mainstream).

submissions
In Flames – Come Clarity Lyrics 14 years ago
I kind of agree with the midlife crisis thing. Man, I wish I could have a midlife crisis.

submissions
Strapping Young Lad – Two Weeks Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is hard to get the meaning of. I thought at first that Devin had the courage to set aside a love song on the album, but I kind of doubt that.

submissions
Strapping Young Lad – Satan's Ice Cream Truck Lyrics 14 years ago
Man, the kiddy voice is so funny.

And I think it actually is a pedophile anthem.

Protest the Hero – Heretics & Killers Lyrics 14 years ago
Protest rocks. I love this band

Communic – Under a Luminous Sky Lyrics 15 years ago
My favorite Communic song ever. I'm not exactly sure what the song truely means.

submissions
Linkin Park – Breaking The Habit Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is likely about masturbation.

submissions
Hoobastank – Out of Control (feat. Ian Watkins & Jamie Oliver) Lyrics 15 years ago
I thought this was about a teenager in a tight spot in a relationship where he wasn't sure his girlfriend loves him or not, and how she was never there for him.

submissions
Dream Theater – Caught in a Web Lyrics 15 years ago
The best songs are ambiguous.

submissions
Ensiferum – Goblins' Dance Lyrics 15 years ago
I love this song. I wish I could live in a world of Goblins by my side with no human worries.

submissions
Soilwork – Razorlives Lyrics 15 years ago
Man, this song is really profound. I can't muster a meaning from it. But it is a great song.

submissions
Soilwork – Natural Born Chaos Lyrics 15 years ago
I don't know why, but I think this song is about lawyers that do anything to get their verdict, even if it's morally incorrect.

submissions
Soilwork – Distortion Sleep Lyrics 15 years ago
I love Soilwork's songs because they're usually so ambiguous.

submissions
Soilwork – Mindfields Lyrics 15 years ago
Lately, I've reviewed the lyrics, and the song appears to be about the aftermath of nuclear war. You can see it where everyone is gathered in a "fatal colony" and everyone's still angry with "our veins are filled with pure dismay." and the chorus "Playing on a mindfield, searching like never before." is supposed to represent searching for any resources not destroyed by the nuclear war.

submissions
Soilwork – Bastard Chain Lyrics 15 years ago
The song sounds cool. And yes, I think it's about Soilwork addressing the Nazis and bashing them. You can see it where it says "never let your scorn rule your fate... Your fate! always dragging you down, to
the ground, a disgrace, a disgrace, your "master race""

submissions
Linkin Park – Crawling Lyrics 15 years ago
Has anyone ever stopped to consider that this song was nothing more than random, reasonless lyrics? Maybe the vocalist decided that he wanted to write a song with no meaning whatsoever, and this one happens to be closest to being about bodily parasites.

submissions
Iron Maiden – Childhood's End Lyrics 15 years ago
It's true, it has nothing to do with the book. I've read it. The song is just generally about humanity going down the wrong road.

Bruce Dickinson – Born in '58 Lyrics 15 years ago
Bruce Dickinson was born in 1958. Seriously. Look it up.

submissions
Bruce Dickinson – Back From The Edge Lyrics 15 years ago
This is a great song. I can't figure out why nobody has commented on it yet. But for the meaning, I think it may have to do with (trying to) overcoming addiction, which is supported by "I still have urges I fight back" and "Back from the fear that you're not worth a damn"

submissions
Exodus – The Toxic Waltz Lyrics 15 years ago
I agree with masterofpuppets80, Linkin Park and all that crap sucks. Exodus pwns.

submissions
Bruce Dickinson – Soul Intruders Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about people trying to escape hell.

submissions
Bloodsimple – Straight hate Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is great. It's basically expressing hatred against the government and how they are being used like worthless pawns to die for a meaningless war, and that their death won't be missed by the government. The "We rise. Red, white, and blessed blue." is a sarcastic line. But it's true that this song is awesome. I can't stop listening to it.

submissions
Soilwork – Neon Rebels Lyrics 15 years ago
This is my favorite Soilwork song of all time.

submissions
Soilwork – Asylum Dance Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm pretty sure that this song describes an insane person who's very frightened and hallucinating.

submissions
Soilwork – Mindfields Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm not exactly sure what this song is supposed to mean, but I really enjoy listening to it.

submissions
Dark Tranquillity – The Endless Feed Lyrics 15 years ago
I love this song. I've always listened to it without questioning it until I finally decided to read the lyrics themselves here.

submissions
Bruce Dickinson – All The Young Dudes Lyrics 15 years ago
This is actually considered a gay anthem, but Bruce didn't even write this song. He remade it from some other band.

submissions
Soilwork – Observation Slave Lyrics 15 years ago
I can't really grasp the concept of this song. But I still like it a lot.

submissions
Bruce Dickinson – Abduction Lyrics 15 years ago
virtualfactor is a retard who probably hasn't heard the song and read only the lyrics.

submissions
Linkin Park – Crawling Lyrics 16 years ago
Everyone, face the truth. This isn't a song about "I'm getting through life! It's so hard!" Why? Because it's about tape worms, ringworms, and parasites. I mean, what else can crawl in your skin like that and infect wounds?

submissions
Metallica – Sweet Amber Lyrics 16 years ago
I originally thought this song had something to do with an ex-girlfriend named Amber who was controlling.

submissions
Metallica – The Thing That Should Not Be Lyrics 16 years ago
This is a great song. I think it has something to do with a sea monster, though. I'm not sure about all the details, but it's still a very good song.

submissions
Metallica – Blackened Lyrics 16 years ago
I didn't exactly think it was about a nuclear war ending the world. I thought of it more like the distant future where pollution, waste, global warming, ozone depletion, and other environmental problems are far out of control.

Metallica – ...And Justice for All Lyrics 16 years ago
This is still a good song. It's obvious that the rich government is abusing its power and this is telling the listener "I can't believe you're going to sit there and let this go on," or more precisely "I can't believe the price you pay."

submissions
Metallica – Disposable Heroes Lyrics 16 years ago
This is more proof that Metallica is strictly anti-war. They wrote this song and then they wrote One, which really shows that.

submissions
Metallica – Damage, Inc. Lyrics 16 years ago
It's the last song on Master Of Puppets, and I've always looked at it as a call of nonconformity to cut the strings of the puppet master.

submissions
Soilwork – Overload Lyrics 16 years ago
This song is about trying a sensitive person (hence the "vulnerable heart" and "so fragile it hurts") trying not to give up and feeling the bitter taste of failure "a million times."

submissions
Soilwork – Millionflame Lyrics 16 years ago
I think this is about the whole Satan thing with the "sell your soul" thing and Satan making promises and stuff.
