this guy is a joke. and not even a funny joke. all he seems to have done is spoken about being a pimp over some dodgy samples, stood topless for album covers (coz he's so muscly and cool), and been shot. and he's managed to make a career out of it, when their are some truly awesome bands who have had a much harder road to the top, and still come off worse than a guy who can swear ridiculous amounts of times in a line. |

i know people are gonna disagree with me, but im allowed my opinion. to be honest i think this song is really bad. i mean, the lryic 'i wanna say i do' is to me a really silly line. it sounds like a 4 year old wrote it. maybe the idea was to sound young and helpless, i dunno, but still. |

tbh, i really dont agree with the emo theory. although i find the idea of hypnotize coming before mezmerize intriguing.
as for the 'most lonliest day of my life', maybe his day was sooooooo lonely that he couldnt think straight by the end of it. i dunno. i shouldnt really be posting if i dont. ho hum. |

i heard that cc was brought up in a strict catholic family, which he resented, and so growing up he was always very mocking of the faith. i think maybe he's trying to tap into his spiritual side in this song, maybe trying to make amends for what he's said and done in the past, as in the line 'im willing to listen to your answers/ and im not afraid to say i need you today'.
also, a few corrections, its 'im willing to listen...', not 'unwilling', and 'when im tired and depraved', not 'depressed'. |

i really dont think this song makes any referance to drugs whatsoever. i agree with the people saying its about not waiting for the right shade of green on the traffic lights. i dont see how the lyrics relate to drugs at all, other than the word 'green'. |

i think its silly to say this song is about a prostiute. when he sings 'that kinda girl', i think he just means the sort of girl who can make him feel wanted, someone he can relate to. someone who stands out from the other 'guests' at the 'party', and can make him feel better when everyone else makes him feel insecure. |
