I got the Octtober issue of AP in the mail the other day, and Coheed explains all the songs in chart on one of that pages, its pretty cool if you wanna see what they say about it. They say this one is about Claudio going to the gullitaine to get his wings removed. But his lover is the one doing it to him. And by now i think he relizes he's a fictional character created by another fictional character, and all he has to do to end this is come to relitization with this, so now he has to make that decision of what to do. good stuff right there |

This is a good song, not as good as their demo version off the Victory Records sampler, but none the less, still good. This song seems to be about people wearing out the scene. The band's not trying to become "another fabricated self-portrait" The video explains a lot too, its people basicly going in and out of a factory like zombie children just listening to whatever corprate america hands to them. Good stuff right there. |

I think its about a girl who tries to break up with him in one of those "we're still really good friends" kinda ways. She leaves this 'small town boy' to go out and try new things. And he hasnt excepted it yet. He trys to think of it as shes just on vacation and she'll be back, soon i'll be able to wake up next to her and this will just be a bad dream. Then he comes in and out of realitization and thats when his open wounds hurt. Then at the end it sounds like he kinda tells her off as in a way to say, "yeah, fine. go have a good time i'll be fine on my own" thats what i think |

I agree with BrandNewChick. I think it's biblical. They seem to refer to bible with other stuff too. One of the apostles asked Jesus, "how many times should i forgive my brother 7 times? And he replied, no up to 77 times" So maybe 70 times 7 came from that. But pardon the lisp, Moses had a speech inpediment but was chosen to speak about god, fasten me to a chain around your neck, ppl often wear crosses on their neck, wine is very biblical, i also think that quote is somewhere in the bible. I shot the pilot now i'm begging you to fly this plane for me, its all about faith and relying on someone to aid them in their decisions. I think faith and relying on outside help other then yourself is the overall theme in this song. If ya dont agree, thats cool... ha |

Theres a recording studio in that general area. I think its in someones basement. But they used to hang out and record stuff a while back. So many its about chillen with different friends that came through their lives and that studio. Also, not that it has anything to do with it but, its sort of an in between point for Rockville Centre (Straylight Run) Massapequa/Amityville (TBS) and Levittown (Brand New) |

I haven't read every single message so i'm not sure if anyones answered the questions already with regaurds to why this song and TBS's "There's No "I" In Team" has the same lyrics but, there's an underground lyrical pool for lines and phrases on Long Island where both these bands are from... Everyone puts lines in to the lyric pool and anyone can take lines out they wish to use. These guys took the same lines. They also used to be mingled together as one band.
