Weezer – This Is Such A Pity Lyrics 14 years ago
I find it funny now when people say, "Bring old Weezer back."
That's the beauty of Weezer, their albums are different. And they change.
I don't think Weezer has the best album yet, they can do better. I believe that I'd love to find a disk with about 300 demos that Rivers has... Back from dreaming...
I think that Weezer will have the best album later, and they better get one, or I'll have to find a favourite out of what they have.
They really should mix Blue, Pinkerton, and all the best things of Green, Maladoit, and Make Believe, and add other things, and add pretty solos, and get Rivers all into it (unlike Green and Maladroit... Cheese smells so good on a burnt piece of lamb, huh?) and then make something unpredictable that just kicks, and then it would make their best album. :)

Weezer – Freak Me Out Lyrics 14 years ago
Once again, bumpygrimes didn't fail to put it the right way. :)
I'm surprised that so many people like this song on here... I'm so used everyone saying, "I think Make Believe is okay. Except Freak Me Out. Something went wrong there..." I personally think that if this song was about a spider, "Can I buy you a drink?" would fit. Not literally, but as in, I don't know, desperately trying to make up for hurting the spider. You know, "Did I hurt you, are you okay?" so it's kinda like you really are sorry... I'm confused now.
Well, actually, this was the song I originally liked off of the album, but I floated away from it after. I still like it though.
But Brian said, "I’m already on the record saying it’s about a spider, that’s all I know about it."
I don't know. I find it an interesting song though.
Go spiders.
Go Weezer.

Weezer – Perfect Situation Lyrics 14 years ago
Pat said, "It sounds like it could have been on the Green Album. I think of it as, like, classic Weezer."
It's a great song. And the whoas make me happy. It's not the best part of the song though, no.

Weezer – The Damage in Your Heart Lyrics 14 years ago
I agree with the Pinkerton topic, and how it's the honest record number two, and all those things that Shastasheen said.

Weezer – Haunt You Every Day Lyrics 14 years ago
Well, that didn't work out.
I meant to say that I love bumpygrimes.
And then I meant to say that it's a good song, and then I added that it's a good closing song.

Weezer – We Are All on Drugs Lyrics 14 years ago
It amuses me so much when people who are guessing turn their guesses into facts, and say with a smart tone, "Rivers had a drug addiction problem, but now he quit... blah blah." Interesting, interesting. Yes, Rivers tried a lot of drugs, He's just one of those rock stars. I guess it doesn't hurt to read interviews, or perhaps Rivers' Edge, but if you don't have time, or stuff like that, which is understandable, just don't say things like that. You're just wring, stop pretending you know.
Anyway, this is not Weezer's greatest song. It's weird that people would think so, Rivers wrote stuff that's much better. It's not their worst song either, it's catchy and it's fun. They say that people love this song when they play it live, too.
And as for how Rivers wrote it, this is what he said, "I was living in an apartment above the Sunset Strip, and every Friday and Saturday night I’d hear people cruising and partying, and hooting and hollering. And I went to sleep one night and I heard those sounds all through the night, in my dreams. I had this dream about a kid on the Metro bus, blasting hip hop into his brain through his headphones. And the music sounded so decadent and overstimulating, and I woke up in the midst of that dream, in a haze, and immediately said to myself, “Man, we’re all on drugs!” And I instantly knew that would be a cool song."
And maybe I can add that Brian said, "I think it’s a great song because it’s not saying anything positive or negative about drugs."

Hilary Duff – Come Clean Lyrics 14 years ago
Well, I wouldn't look up to her, but...
I wanted to see what people said about Duff's... art, and if someone said that they can "totally relate to her hard life." I find it kinda funny though, when people say that she means something in her songs, she can't really 'cause she didn't write them. I, personally, well, a whole bunch of people don't agree with me, but I don't like it at all when a person sings songs, but doesn't write them. it's not honest, and no one knows what they really sing. But then again, she's there for entertainment, not to bring out a good message. The people who write songs for her create her image, and they thought she most perfectly represented a girl who needs boys. Well, whatever, some people like it, so it's good she's there. But I jut don't see a way to look up to her and see her as a great model. My opinion though, if she's worthy for another person, it's just right.

Weezer – Velouria (Pixies cover) Lyrics 14 years ago
I think they did. =)

Weezer – Worry Rock Lyrics 14 years ago
I would say that Velouria is the best cover song, Weezer really did it, but this one is pretty good too.

Weezer – Broken Arrows Lyrics 14 years ago
...and Broken Arrows. I love this song so much, I don't even know why. Well, it is a great song. It's one of my favorite Weezer songs, actually.

Weezer – Blast Off Lyrics 14 years ago
Rivers calls it the best melody that anyone have ever written. It's an amazing song. I wish the finished the SFTBH for us, so we get to listen to it. And Superfriend, which is practically unlistenable. This melody is stuck in my head. Good song.

Weezer – Serendipity Lyrics 14 years ago
If it's only rock and roll, how come music's in my soul? Such a brilliant line... I wish everyone knew it. I think I got my friend to love it too. I love this song. Mostly because of the line, actually.

Ozma – Baseball Lyrics 14 years ago
