I may listen to slow melodramatic whiny music but I also listen to U.K Drum and bass and I have been heavily involved in the scene for the last 10 years. I have more musical contacts then you could ever dream of and I make a very good side income from my weekly residence in several London nightclubs as well as holding down a well paid middle management government job at the age of 23. So how can you say that I only listen to melancholy and limit my views? Thank you Davedent I was just reading the silly comments over the last two pages and I was about to add my own, but you have worded it better then I ever could have! This Song is not an anti Chav song like so many people have posted. What is the definition of a Chav? I wear Tracksuits, I also wear Shirts and trousers and smart "slip on" shoes, I also wear ripped jeans and combats with retro shirts and my hair can be scruffy or spikey depending on my mood! So what pigeon hole whould you put me in? If you saw me with combats, Etnies traniers and a Fred Perry polo on would you be my friend? OR If you saw me wearing a tracksuit, a cap and a pair of Nike trainers would you not speak to me? What else can i say about this track that has not already been explained in the last 11 pages? everbody has a opinion of what the song is about (including me) but mine has already been talked about 10 times over. All i can say about this song is that it was always a Painfull song for Thom, as we all know they stopped playing it live. I dont think we will ever know the truth about a lot of Radiohead's tunes (and even if we did would we really want to find out? it could be that what we thought was really deep, was something very different) I think that we should stop dwelling on what the tune means and reflect on what a ground breaking piece of music it was!
