you all have part of it, i think, the heart of the song shows us that while everyone can relate to one another in their insecurities, instead they try to cover them up with alcohol, and point out things they know other people are insecure about, to make themselves feel better, this song is about those people finally realizing that everyone feels the same way, although there going through different times, with or without alcohol, but a smiling happy lonely drunk isnt really happy, he or she just has that plastic smile on their face because there too drunk to care, im not a big drinker so this song feels to me like every party ive ever been to. Theres a bunch of real people at the party, but also a shitload of fake ones that you just have to live with, the point is if the fake ones would just understand that they can be themselves without fear of being rejected then they wouldnt need the alcohol to make them feel good. |

there 2 different versions of the song... well the same song, recorded two different times with subtle differences, whats wrong with that? Also shows a good example of how their new music has changed from the old stuff while still keeping the same "feel"

well its always been about weed to me, even if the words do sometimes seem like hes saying hes a reason away, a lot of times its impossible that there saying that, they have to be saying a reason to wait, and i dunno about you guys but for me weed is the only reason ill fucking wait or sit stilll through anything. |

To me this song can be about whatever it is that keeps you sane. To me, and I think to the writer as well (im going to have to dispute the lyrics here for a sec) Marijuana keeps me sane, now lets not jump to conclusions about how wrong I am, but I believe hes saying weed keeps him sane and its his "reason to wait" hes not a reason away from smoking a joing, he has a reason to wait.... for anything, because he smoked a joint... or 2... |
