I once took this song and used it to write a fanfic about a pair of gay lovers. When one of the boy's parents found out he was gay he took him and locked him away, forbidding him to be gay or see his love. His love came to rescue him, only to find he'd tried to kill himself, and was taking him to a hospital for help. The father caught them as they were leaving and killed them both in rage. The last verse took place at the funeral, the "we hope that you choke" as the boys' friends and mother watched the cops drag him away from the grave. heh. That what that song means to me. |

| This song is about a story told in Germany about a young boy who is buried alive. He had a music box with him that played a popular childrens' tuen at the time. (the music box tune played through the song) And he played it again and again and again after he woke up because there was no other way to be heard and no one to comfort him. Finally a week later when everyone came to visit the grave someone heard it playing and he was unearthed, half dead. At least--that's what my friend's German wife tells me. ;) | |
