i kno i've said it before, but the way i see it, we're all marginally responsible for taking care of each other, and to kill the purest, most innocent form of life is just wrong... it is irresponsible to have unprotected sex in the first place if you dont want kids. everyone knows the risks of unprotected sex, and how birth control doesnt always work. all anyone would ever have to do is give birth to your child, you own flesh and blood and then hand it over to someone who wants and deserves it more. it may not be the easiest thing all the time..but thats what life is, its fucking hard. getting fat for a couple months and maybe throwing up a little is definatly worth a human life. no matter how you look at it. |

megeddo, that is one of the most ignorant things i have evr heard anyone say. first of all, it is believed by most doctors that the fetus has full awareness by the third month and are able to feel pain a s well as anbody. one of the most popular mthods of abortion for fetuses between 3 nd 5 months is being burned to death by acid injected into the womb, and then the mother gives birth to a dead, burned up baby. undreds of woman ahe testified that they have felt 'kicking and thrashing' in teir womb as the baby died. the fetuses heart rate speeds up. while i am not exactly a tree hugger, there are people who try to protct plants. to compare a human fetus to a tree is the most moronic and naive thing that you could say. to your question 'which is better...' i think that anyone would agree that they would rather be given a fighting chance than to have the decision of whether u live or die be made by someone woh never wanted you. there are millions of people who would give anything to adopt a baby. and like i have said before, it is sad that there are people dieing all ove the world who shouldnt be, but abortion is the most sickening and the most avoidable by far. as for the shithole that u talk about... i think the only shithole in this debate is the one our society is going down as a whole because of the self rightous thinking and lack of basic morals of peole like you. |

as for the guns...most violence involving kids and suicide in school happen in suburbs, where its harder to get guns as compared to the city, and suicide happend without guns, as i have made clear before..

i dont think this cd has an exact meaning, it can be taken many different ways.
i think jesus of suburbia (jos) is just a normal, suburban kid being raised by rich republicans or some shit like that, and he just decides they're all american idiots and its not for him. hes sickened by everyday life and eventually he just gives up and runs away to the city. when hes there his life just sucks, but he meets a dealer named jimmyand discovers drugs, (give me novocaine) he becomes friends with this kid jimmy and starts running with the wrong crowd. he finds this girlfriend whatsername and everythings goin good for a while but then she dumps him, and he kinda drinfts away from jimmy, leaving the fast lifestyle behind and hes depressed, thinking about his past. years later he finds out jimmy had killed himself, haveing been in trouble with the law and it gets him thinking about his past, and having regrets about jimmy and whatsername.
its a great album no matter hot you look at it. all the songs tie in with the 'punk rock opera' theme, but they can all have specific meanings that can be applied to life. amazing album. |

ok, i think this album was meant to be taken a lot of different ways. you can look at it however you want, basically it about this typical suberben kid (jos) whos sick of being fucked with all the time so he leaves home. he meets a shady guy named st jmmy who sells him drugs and they become friends. then he meaats a girl (whatsername) and he goes out with her. she breaks up with him and he just goes into a downward spiral, thinking about his past (when september ends). somewhere alon the line he grew apart from jimmy, cuz he was tired of the fast life style. many years later he finids out jimmy killed himself after being hunted by the cops, and it gets him thinking about his past, and regrets about jimmy and whatsername.
its an awesome cd and i love how the songs have meaning that go along with the story, but can still make sence and can be applied to everyday life when u listen to them, like whatsername. |
