I like The Ramones, but don't you think their songs are a bit similar? And I would definitely disagree about Ramones starting the punk movement. I would have to say that it was the Sex Pistols' Anarchy In The U.K. that started it. And Kurdt Kobain, I have to disagree that The Clash are not punk. I think the Clash were. Joe Strummer had political views (Rock The Casbah, for example) and the band were anti-establishment. Sso apart from them not really being a three-chord band, and they experimented a bit more than most punk bands, I think they are considered as punk. |

A Sex Pistols song isn't really the best place to express your feelings for your dearly beloved Queen Elizabeth. And to be honest, you were just looking for trouble by posting. MYCRUSTYSCABS, there's nothing wrong with being rich, it's only if you act like a snob and think you're better than everyone else. My family are pretty comfortable, financially, and it really pisses me off when people go on about how they hate rich people. I hate snobs, but I think it's really unfair to call all rich people snobs. I would never call someone poor, ever and class would not get in the way of me being friends with someone higher or lower a class than me. Being Middle class back in the late 70s with the pistols would've been hard because the punks hated the rich snobs. But I hate the class system, and so did Lydon. We should all be in the same class. |

I think it's a crap song. Steve and Paul buggered off to Brazil to record it with Ronnie Biggs. Why should Ronnie Biggs be patronised when he took part in a train robbery that left the driver brain-dead. It's sick. |

This song is fucking amazing. The "No Future" outro is genius. In the DVD The Filth and The Fury, Johnny says they wrote it not because they hated the Queen, they were fed up with the people making fun of the monarchy. Which I find hard to believe but he said it. |

I am a big fan of the Sex Pistols and this is one of their best songs. Although I doubt Anarchy would work these days. Britain, and not to mention the rest of the world, is fucked up already. |

I like this song. The riff is really nice. This was the song that Johhny Rotten mimed along to at the "audition" for the Sex Pistols new frontman.....and got the job obviously. Anyway that hasn't really got anything to do with this but oh well........ |
