First of all, both Creed and Alter Bridge are awesome bands. The way I interpret this song is someone wanting to get away from there not so good life that they lived before, "Away from the burdens of all my crimes." They want to be a better person, and live a better life, his lies and wrong doings are causing him pain. My favorite line is "I will kill what hurts with something pure" |
