Pepsi: You think his TNA music is better? It's a pretty transparent knockoff of "My Last Breath" by Evanescence (http://www.songmeanings.net/query.php?action=go&lid=3530822107858484675) and, while it has a good sound, I can't really get past that. |

From what I read, this song was originally made for the WWF Forceable Entry album, but was left on the cutting room floor; it was supposed to serve as The Rock's entrance music. Makes sense, as the main riff of the song has been present, in some form or another, in every theme he's used since he was billed as "Rocky Maivia"... |

I'll always think of this as "Freddie's Song". It's Freddie Mercury's last stab at Death, his final cry that, yes, his life may be ending, but if he has to go, he'll go out performing, doing what he loves, with a smile on his face.
RIP Freddie. There'll never be another like you. |

I'm sorry, but if you don't like Queen, at least a little, you don't like rock 'n roll. This is an incredible song, powerful and driving. It's probably my second favorite by Queen, after "The Show Must Go On". |

Saliva – Superstar Lyrics

It's all about the rise to, and fall from, fame for a rock star. In the first verse, the guy's trying to make it big. Second verse, he's there, he's living his dream, but on some level he's not enjoying it; his life's still empty. In the last verse, he finally burns out on the sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll lifestyle and kills himself. You know, I've noticed that a lot of Saliva's songs end in suicide... |

I'm wondering if the wrestling haters here ever watch TV, go to the movies, go to a play, etc... OMGWTFBBQ Y U WATCH THAT CRAP ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAKE~!!!!!!!!!!!!!oneoneoneeleven
Seriously, though, Benoit is one of the greatest wrestlers ever, and this song fits him so well, both his character (no-nonsense ass-kicker who really doesn't care about playing to the crowd or really much of anything besides wrestling) and himself (somebody who worked his entire life just for the chance to find his dream, never giving up no matter what got in his way). It's a really inspiring song for anybody who's ever had a dream to chase, an obstacle to overcome, a hill to climb. |

This was the theme for former WWE superstar Sean O'Haire, and, IMHO, it's meant to be a fight anthem for O'Haire, who was meant to be a manipulative rulebreaker. It even integrates one of his catchphrases--"I'm only telling you what you already know." |

The band was interviewed about this song, and they said that it was about an evil man trying to redeem himself and do the right thing, which is a theme that's very often explored in the morality play that is pro wrestling. I wonder if this means Christian's due for a run as a face? |
