I wasn't so keen on this song at first. It was annoying. But when I listen to the lyrics, I get really sad. Not because I'm lonely, but knowing that people have the tendency to screw things up like this. It must be a very bad feeling to know that you were with someone who was hella good to you and loved you, but you were the one that screwed it up and there's nothing to fix it. I don't even wish this feeling on my ex, no matter how bad we ended. But that's what makes me sad . . . that someday he might be able to relate to this song. Another lesson to not take things/people for granted. |

Wow, this song is really beautiful and I can`t help but put it on repeat. This song is about someone who`s going on with life without someone they love, yet they are still trying to live life to the fullest and is applying everything he has learned from the other person's love. He is saying that this person will always have a part in their heart. I LOVE the line "even though for now we`ve got to say goodbye" because after all . . . some people like to believe that goodbyes are not forever. =) I would say this would be a sort of continuation of the story from their song Incomplete. |

This is a great comeback song for BSB! I understand every line of this song especially he chorus. The lyrics capture so beautifully and yet ironically the emotions that one goes through when they are left without someone they love. Ultimately, we know life goes on, but nothing is ever the same. It`s almost like a part of us inside dies and is never whole again. |

Even though it's an encouraging song, somehow, the melodies of it make the lyrics so bittersweet like it's nothing but fake hope. Kinda like . . . being in denial and telling yourself that someday, someone will come along and love you more, but then inside, you really just want the person you just lost. |

This guy has taken every ounce out of her and used her for all she was worth and she finally realizes this and decides to be "through with love." And it is also about finder a new kind of love in God . . . but that part seems kind of thrown in and doesn't correlate with the rest of the song. Good lyrics and beat nonetheless. |

This song is so extremely heartbreaking because Willie sings about a complicated situation with such simplicity. The words are also simple yet so meaningful. To me, it's about someone who's on the verge of losing a special person because they haven't been treating that person the way they should be treated. And this person is regretting not expressing their love more often even though the love was always inside of them. |

Each time I heard this song or sang to this song, I would gradually burst into tears. Now, after I have had my first experience with love, I truly, truly feel the pain of these words. This song is pretty much self-explanatory, but to me, the first two verses describe how everything means nothing because that special person is missing. I can go out all I want, meet tons of new people, party all night long . . . but at the end of the day, I would still feel empty because I am missing somebody from my life. I can`t even begin to describe how this song truly captures the pain one feels when a relationship has ended. Sinead did a wonderful job with the song and video. |

I REALLY love this song. It has such a nice beat and Kelly`s voice is absolutely AMAZING. I know the lyrics make it seem like how a girl is finally being able to move on from a guy she`s loved. Maybe it`s because of the situation I`m in that I think it`s more of a girl saying all this because she WANTS TO BELIEVE that she is moving on and that she is over him. Like . . . denial. I think it`s pretty childish of you to insult ME specifically just because I shared my own opinion of this song and I definitely did not mean to be rude. I`m not the only one around here criticizing songs and other people have definitely said far worse - and even making irrelevent comments - about singers and their songs. I burn each time I hear this song. =*( This song is like a story . . . starting from a guy who breaks up with his girl because he feels like things will never work out. But then the chorus says to just let it burn coz it`s over. In the second verse, he realizes he really loves her after all, but he doesn`t know how he can get her back. *sigh* This song really hits the spot and I never get sick of listening to it even though it`s overplayed like crazy. |

I think it`s great that Christina had this song on her album. There are a lot of guys out there having casual sex with women without the love part and she`s just showing that women can be just the same without having to feel dirty about it. This is probably my favorite Britney song just because it`s simple and feels real to me since I can relate to this song so much. "Everytime" is about a girl who`s having trouble moving on. She made mistakes in the relationship and she realizes that she really needs him. The line that gets me the most is when she sings "At night I pray / That soon your face will fade away." Another thing I really like about this song was the effort that Britney put into this. You could really hear the grief and desperation. |

In the beginning, I really liked this song. But now, the more I listen to it, the more I get annoyed. ESPECIALLY with the first two lines "I was six years old, when my parents went away / I was stuck inside, a broken life, I couldn't wish away." Hello?! Stuck inside a broken life?! Waaaaaay too many more people have had it far worse than her than to just live in someone`s shadow. Living in her sister`s shadow has brought her the fame, like someone had said before me. If Jessica Simpson was not her sister, would she have broken through the entertainment business so easily? Would she have gotten that show on MTv, which OBVIOUSLY boosted her album sales? I don`t think so. If it wasn`t her singing this song, maybe the words would mean more, but otherwise, nope. |
