I can't even explain how much this song means to me. *Deep breath* In a small town softball tournament that I wasn't playing in but got roped into being there (I'm from a big city normally but anyways) I ended up having a lot of fun because my cousins snuck me into the beer gardens and I met the boy of my dreams. We talked for hours and didn't realize how much time had passed. He texted me the whole weekend. We had the most perfect kiss under the northern lights & the stars after which he said "I just had to make sure there was a spark" and I said "Was there?" and he said "So much that it hurt." And he has a girlfriend. He told me the other day that this song made him miss me. *End stupid stories* |

While I'm not a Lindsay fan, I really appreciate this song- when she says "I dream of another you, one who would never, never leave me alone to pick up the pieces"... My parents split up a few months ago and it's the most painful thing in the world for me because i was really close to my father, and he went back to england and left me basically in charge of my ten and twelve year old siblings because my mother is a mess because of him, and she basically leaves all the parenting to me, and when she comes out of her slump she basically yells at me for not being good enough... anyways... This is a good song. I love it. Very heartfelt. |

Back to Emmylou Harris- I think that it is amazing of Conor to have used her on the album. It just shows his amazing maturity and his recognition for talent- I'm not a huge fan of Emmylou Harris myself but I do know and respect that she was a great singer. Conor is just too, too amazing. |

I love this song so much. To me, it's about a relationship that went sour before it got too serious- but was amazing. I always compare it to this guy who I was completely in love with- we never really quite made it to official couple, therefore we never entered that eretheral world Neil talks about in the first part of the song, the dancing together in the nevermore. Sadly, the relationship went sour and we rarely saw eachother. This song describes it. |
