I love brand new ever since the first time i heard them. i went out and bought both CDs and dled all their non-album stuff. seeing them live was even more amazing. i've been living in melbourne, australia for the past 4 months, so i couldn't believe that i got to see one of my favorite bands headling a show at a tiny tiny venue in melbourne soon after i got here (just before travis's (from blink 182) injury). Being one of the few people from Long Island at the show, i got a shout-out from Jesse during the concert and met up with him after. my friend's favorite song is "the one about montauk" so she mentioned that she was a little disappointed. Jesse told her that it is his favorite song as well, but he doesn't play it live anymore because he messed up the last time he tried to. anyway, jesse is a brilliant lyricist, and even more amazing in concert, so everyone should go see bn if they get a chance |

After living in Melbourne, Australia for 5 months, i love the line about flinders st. station. And it was bugging me when i first heard about, and i'm not sure if this is it, but it kinda reminds me of "only god knows why" by kid rock. just a little bit |
