The Cars – Since You're Gone Lyrics

The Cars rule. This is easily one of my favorites. Amazing tune. Oh, and by the way, they are far from outdated. Artists are still ripping them off to this day. The Strokes (who suck) are a prime example of this. Pay attention... |

You are all fucking idiots. Not one person that has commented about this song, other than me, is worthy of Ozzy. |

Ozzy Osbourne – Hellraiser Lyrics

EmbryoSystem, clearly, you are developmentally disabled. Down to Earth is Ozzy's worst album. Ozzmosis was not amazing, but it certainly was superior to DTE. Trust me, I was listening to Sabbath before you were conceived. By the way, Hellraiser is a fucking amazing song. |

311 – Amber Lyrics

I couldn't disagree with beautifuldsastr any more. I am a long time 311 fan, and Amber is one of their best songs. Here's the thing, a song can go mainstream and still be great. I know that over-hyped, over-commercialized songs (which this song is not) may often suck, but become popular due to exposure and idiots. However, a song is a song, take it for what it is. If I like a song, I don't really care how many other chuckleheads like or dislike it. I don't listen to music to be cool. I love the song "Sweet" off the self-titled album. The song is obscure to your average, radio-songs 311 fan. Am I hip for liking it? Is the song any greater because it's less known. Who gives a f*ck? I dig it. I would feel the same way about Amber whether it was popular or not. All Mixed Up is another great song. Incredibly popular. Who cares? Love it! beautifuldsastr, just do your thing and don't sweat fools, you apparently have good taste. |

Collective Soul – Smashing Young Man Lyrics

No doubt it's about Corgan. Right on! I dig a lot of Pumpkins songs, but they are not nearly as talented as Collective Soul, which is one of the most underrated bands of the last decade. Great song too. |

Grandaddy – Now It's On Lyrics

I think that this song is about self-enlightenment. About feelings that have been repressed, and it's time to face them, and healing is good.
If you can "bust the lock off the front door" you won't wanna hide from the bad feelings anymore. If you can accomplish this, then the lake (placidity) will replace the dead sea (repressed feelings), and you will be yourself again, like "in the season of the old me." |
