This song is damn good. I took this song to mean just this.... It is of doubting self worth. And looking for the meaning of ones self and not quite being sure if you will ever find it. But despite it all, still looking for it. I like songs that make you think about things and to me, this is one of those! |

What it means to me is that he cares about his girl. He tells her how he feels and gets a bad reaction from her. The reaction being that she doesn't love him. And he realizes this. But even though he is hurting he knows that walking away is the best thing for him to do since he knows down deep that she is going to walk away from him. So to save face, he decides to walk away as well. |
