I want to join the obsessive, geek club too! Andrew is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I met him &William at Warped Tour(San Fransisco). yeah, they kept going on and on about how fans who have followed them for a while are the best. (i've been following them since. maybe. last october.)
Andrew said that this song was written by Josh when his girlfriend cheated on him. I guess it kind of makes sense though. He's angry ''cuz she cheated on him, so he's saying that he's better than the other guy. &that he wouldn't ever let her down.
In any event, it's a damn good song. And a damn good band. They are awesome live, by the way. |

she dresses punk, but her music is pop. even though i don't really like pop very much, i do like avril. this song is pretty good, but she gets kinda conceited in the middle of it, "Sorry girl but you missed out

this song is so amazing. the beginning kind of reminds me of an at the drive in song. -shrug-
"sweetie, the moon has raped me -" is also used in the lament of pretty baby. [ heh. that was not meant to copy the first line. it just came out]
but it is such a powerful line. as are all of cursive's songs. do they remind anyone else of thursday? |

Sure, its a rad song. And Jimmy Eat World is a great band. But most people like this song and only this song. I don't know how many people have come up to me, and looked at my Jimmy Eat World patch, and pins, and said, "OMG! I love Jimmy Eat{s} [they add the S sometimes, even though there isn't one] World!!" I ask them what songs they've heard by them, "THE MIDDLE!!!" I roll my eyes and walk away. Those people only look at Jimmy Eat World for their Mtv hit [shows how dumb pop culture is, "Lets like everyone MTV likes!"]. If those people could only hear Jimmy Eat World's older stuff, then they'd know the REAL Jimmy Eat World. |

I think the line, "your hair, it's everywhere," means that the ex-girlfriend is sleeping around and he knows. it's a great song, but i think many people interprete it wrong. I really think it's about Chris and either current, or ex girlfriend is sleeping around. "And when did your eyes begin to look fake?" That kind of makes me think about she's lying about something. Possibly cheating.
Does anyone know why there are 2 versions of this song. On the CD it's a much faster version, but the version I have on MP3, is much slower, same with "Again I un-noticed." I love Dashboard. |
