this song means sooo much to me. i found out i was pregnant like 2 months ago and mine and my boyfriends first reaction was to have an abortion. although it seemed like the eaisest way out that decision was totally eating me alive. i was in my car and my cds were on random play and this song happened to come on and i knew right then that i couldnt have an abortion. this song literally saved my babys life. were contemplating having her middle name be evangeline. |

ive only been listening to dc for like 8 months or so...so i could very possibly be mistaken. everybody keeps referring to dashboard confessional as a 'band' but its to my understanding that dashboard is actually one guy (that would be chris..) who has a drummer and a guitarist and all that jazz. apparently he chose the name dashboard confessional as opposed to chris carrabba so the shows would be more audience involved...not like a one man show....just my understanding. feel free to correct me if im wrong. |

now i recently got into a debate with some friends of mine about what the line "your hair is everywhere" means. since the first time i heard the song i never really questioned the meaning...that he finds her hair around his place and on his stuff and it breaks his little emo heart with each strand...they all thought i was retarded. :( but it makes much more sense then shes sleeping around doesnt it? or maybe im just retarded......... |
