Goddamnit!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that song (First Time by Lifehouse), but seriously, I'm the most hopeless romantic there is. It's a gift, I guess, but it feels like a curse. Because as young as I am, I feel like I want to just fall in love already. I want to experience that one thing that inspires so many people and gives them reason to live. And this singer feels it. And I read the song's comments on this site, and 95% of people who commented say it applies to their lives. And my gods! it's killing me. I've dreamed of him walking into my life. I've wished on every eyelash that falls on my cheek, stared at the clock until it reads 11:11 so I can wish again, and basically exhausted every wishful superstition there is. I'm not antisocial. I'm meeting people a ton. But nobody even comes close to making me think, "he could be it." They're all just *friends* to me. Well, I've had enough friends already. Time for something more.
