Passenger was a British folk band that formed in 2003, that in 2009 turned into Michael Rosenberg's solo project. The original four-piece formed in Brigton as a collaboration between singer/songwriter Michael Rosenberg and composer Andrew Phillips. Phillips parted ways with the Rosenberg in 2009.
Michael Rosenberg kept the name and went solo. He had his first success with his hit "Let her Go".
From 2011 til now, he is still active. He opened up for British Indie folk singer Ed Sheeran on his North American tour in 2012. That's where he became big in the states. He has been friends with Ed ever since Ed was only 15. He also opened for Ed Sheeran on his 4 out of 5 sell out dates in Ireland in January 2013, as well as Australia & New Zealand.
