Their first album "Dreamtime" did not have a large following, but their second effort "Love" and the hit song "She Sells Sanctuary" made an impression on the mid 80's alternative scene. "Electric" and it's relentless metal overlay brought them out of the alternative scene and into main stream American rock, and allowed them to capitalize on their fame later with "Sonic Temple" which some consider their peak. "Ceremony" brought a crossroads to their history, but they put out six more inventive, content-rich albums which stayed true to their driving metal roots.
